A 34-year-old man, Alexander Shanta Madison, was arrested and faces charges of child abuse and trespassing after being accused of physically abusing a 3-month-old, according to arrest reports.
Deputies from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office arrested Madison on Monday, June 10. The arrest followed an incident where a woman flagged down deputies and claimed to have video evidence of Madison physically abusing her daughter.
The woman reportedly showed deputies a recording of a Facetime call that allegedly depicted Madison leaning over the baby and then, according to the report, βsnatching her neck area, jerking her up out of the bed.β
Subsequently, a warrant was issued for Madison on charges of domestic violence-child abuse and trespassing, according to law enforcement.
