Flotsam River Circus is an extraordinary troupe of musicians, circus artists, and puppeteers who travel on a handmade raft, offering free performances in riverfront towns along their journey. This unique and captivating show is designed for all ages, making it a perfect family-friendly event.
Tour Dates in Ohio Valley:
- August 20: East Liverpool, OH
- August 21: Steubenville, OH
- August 22: Wheeling, WV
- August 23: New Martinsville, WV
Please note that while the Steubenville date remains on the tour list, the Steubenville City Council has currently prohibited the circus from docking at the marina or any other location in town, as reported by the Herald-Star.

The Flotsam River Circus is a non-profit organization, and they rely on donations to keep their project afloat. In addition to financial contributions, they are seeking several specific items to support their tour this year:
- An electric sewing machine
- A couple of decent working bicycles
- A functional tuba
- Drum throne
- Marching snare drum
- A small camper vehicle for the tour, such as a camper van or truck with a slide-in camper
