Harmeyer, originally from Huntington and a graduate of Marshall University, now works as an archivist in West Lafayette, Indiana. She expressed her excitement in a statement about joining the other champions from season 40 and mentioned she is “all in” for a potential all-female tournament.
Her winning streak is the 11th longest in Jeopardy! history, and her earnings are more than double those of Alison Betts, the second-highest winner of season 40.
