One of the modeling community’s own has passed away.
Model Nyima Ward, the son of ex-Aaron Ward and supermodel Trish Goff from the 1990s, passed away. His age was 27.
“Nyima Lee Ward of Ocala, Florida blew into this world on January 2, 1997 destined to live life his own way,” according to his death certificate. “He left it May 29, 2024 having lived fiercely, loved deeply and made memories with the kind of fervor that only a young man who never met a stranger could do.”
It was not disclosed what caused Nyima’s demise.
The obituary went on, “Nyima means ‘the Sun’ in Tibetan.” “He was unquestionably the center of Aaron Ward and Trish Goff’s universe when he was born. He lived there his entire life.”
Nyima was first exposed to the world of modeling by Trish, who would sometimes take him along to events and photo sessions. One evening, Nyima participated in one for Vogue with Trish before he signed with her partner David Bonnouvrier’s DNA Models agency at the age of 18.
