The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a Tornado Warning for parts of West Virginia and Ohio, effective until 4 p.m.
The Tornado Warning affects Belmont and Southwestern Washington Counties in Ohio, as well as Marshall and Ohio Counties in West Virginia.
The NWS warns that flying debris will pose a serious danger to those without shelter. Mobile homes could be damaged or destroyed, and damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles is expected. Tree damage is also likely.
The NWS reports that this dangerous storm will be near Wheeling, Moundsville, Bellaire, Bethlehem, Shadyside, McMechen, and Glen Dale around 3:35 p.m., and Triadelphia around 3:45 p.m.
Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Benwood, Neffs, Grand Vue Park, Elm Grove, Dallas, Sherrard, and Glendale.
