According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, almost 20,000 pounds of beef products are recalled.
The company South American Meat Inc. is recalling the frozen raw beef items.
According to U.S. regulators, the meat was imported from Uruguay but was not thoroughly re-inspected at the time of arrival.
There are no verified reports of illnesses connected to the goods marketed as “Frigorifico Casa Blanca.”
Distributors, eateries, shops, and establishments in Arizona, California, Oregon, and Washington received the meat.
The recalled goods were brought into the country on or about March 17, 2024.
The product package is vacuum-sealed and the shipping box is printed with the number 58.
The products should be thrown away or returned to the original retailer, according to the USDA.
