A man from West Virginia is facing charges after authorities discovered a loaded gun at Pittsburgh International Airport on Tuesday morning.
Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents found the firearm in a backpack at the airport’s alternate security checkpoint around 6:50 a.m.
The passenger, identified as 58-year-old Franklin Barker, was found to be carrying the gun without a valid concealed carry permit, according to Allegheny County police.
As a result, Barker has been charged with carrying a firearm without a license.
